Description: Mouse Protein Z-Dependent Protease Inhibitor (ZPI), recombinantly produced in insect cells. Active and complexable with Factor XIa. This Serine Protease Inhibitor (SERPIN) requires the cofactors Protein Z, phospholipids and calcium to inhibit endogenous Factor Xa. ZPI contains a tyrosine residue at the P1 position of the reactive center loop, rather than arginine which is present in most SERPINs.
