Product Description

Product: Lipoprotein-Associated Phospholipase A2, Human Recombinant
Catalog Number: HLPLA2
Product Page: https://www.mol-innov.com/products/
Description: Lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2, also known as platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase, is a secreted enzyme which catalyzes the degradation of platelet-activating factor to biologically inactive products. This enzyme is produced by inflammatory cells and hydrolyzes oxidised phospholipids in LDL. In the blood it is mainly associated with LDL and less than 20% is coupled to HDL. Expressed recombinantly with an N-terminal 8X-His tag and purified by chromatography. >95percent pure by SDS-PAGE.
