Description: The human form of PAI-1 contains the following four mutations: K154T, Q319L, M354I and N150H. These mutations combine to confer great stability to the otherwise labile molecule essentially locking in into the active conformation. It is an ideal choice for in vivo and cell culture studies. This preparation is purified to lower levels of endotoxin (<0.01 EU/ug) and does not contain animal carrier proteins or sodium azide. It is lyophilized and fully active. Add sterile endotoxin free deionized water to original volume or PAI-1 storage buffer (0.05M Sodium Phosphate; 0.1M NaCl; 1mM EDTA; pH 6.6) to desired volume. Aliquot and freeze unused portion.
